  • Andrew Hevia, co-producer of the Academy Award winning film, Moonlight, is giving a special talk at University of Miami School of Communication, April 21 at 10 a.m. in CIB 3053, Shoma Hall.

    The talk titled From Medicine to Moonlight: How A Short Film and A DIY Festival Paved The Way To The Oscars, will be followed by a Q&A session. This event is open to the UM community.

  • Three Irish debaters are traveling to the University of Miami after winning the Irish Times Final. Aisling Tully, Dara Keenan, and Leah Morgan will debate Anna Ivanova, Julia Lynch, and Virgil Capote from the nationally-ranked UM Debate Team on the motion This house believes that democracies should prioritize interculturalism.
