The mission of the Center’s research and creative portfolio is to advance our collective field of Communication by contributing theory-based, original, complex, socially relevant, and impactful creative activity and research. This Center takes on key subjects of contemporary significance, such as health, climate change, science, and social justice, through creative design in games, augmented reality, and film, as well as scholarship in strategic communication intervention, cross-cultural communication, data visualization, and global communication.
