The IOScholarships STEAM Summit 2026 at Miami Beach Convention Center is a one-day national event produced by Bravo Story LLC, bringing together undergraduate and graduate students to connect with career mentors, internship opportunities, and leaders across Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. The event will host 4 panels, each streamed live and archived for on-demand playback.
We are seeking two skilled student production crew members to execute a professional multi-camera live stream of the Summit. You will work under the supervision of a credentialed IATSE member, operating cameras, managing audio, and maintaining a polished, reliable broadcast throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Operate cameras to capture a minimum of two distinct angles per panel
- Monitor and mix audio directly to stream for clear, balanced sound
- Manage live stream output via YouTube Live (using OBS, Streamyard, or equivalent)
- Ensure live and archived recordings are high-definition and broadcast-ready
- Set up, test, and break down all production equipment on event day
- Coordinate with the supervising IATSE technician and event staff
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in the University of Miami’s Communications & Media department
- Hands-on experience with camera operation and live streaming workflows
- Familiarity with audio hardware and sound mixing for broadcast
- Proficiency with streaming software (OBS, Streamyard, or similar)
- Ability to supply, transport, and operate your own production equipment
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently in a live-event environment
Equipment
Selected candidates are expected to supply and transport all production equipment necessary for the live stream. This includes cameras, capture devices, cabling, audio hardware, and any required software licenses or streaming tools. Bravo Story LLC will not provide production equipment. All gear must be tested and fully operational prior to arrival on event day.
Bring the setup you are most confident operating — reliability and broadcast quality are the top priorities.
** NOTE: You are not allowed to utilize university equipment for external employer projects. **
