Fort Lauderdale United FC, South Florida’s only professional women’s soccer team competing in the Gainbridge Super League, is seeking motivated students to join our internship team for the upcoming season.

Opportunities are available in Events, Matchday Operations, and Sponsorship/Partnerships depending on interest and skill set.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with matchday operations, including setup, stadium branding, field presentation, and promotions
  • Support community events, fan engagement, grassroots activities, and tabling activations
  • Help manage sponsor activations, VIP areas, and branding placements
  • Capture onsite content for recap reports and social media support (as needed)
  • Research potential partners, update lead lists, and assist with partnership proposals
  • Work directly with club staff across marketing, partnerships, communications, and event operations

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced live event environments
  • Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable engaging with fans, partners, and community members
  • Interest in sports marketing, events, communications, partnerships, or media
  • Weekend/evening availability for home matches
  • Reliable transportation
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
  • Must be enrolled in a college/university and eligible for academic credit

Start Time: Looking to hire ASAP / January 2026 (flexible)

Compensation:

This is an unpaid, for-credit internship. Students will gain:

  • Hands-on experience with a professional sports club
  • Matchday event experience at Beyond Bancard Field (NSU)
  • Mentorship from club staff across multiple departments
  • Opportunities to build a sports industry network
  • Resume-building experience in marketing, partnerships, and event management
