Development Internship
This fully remote, asynchronous program lets you analyze screenplays under consideration by American High. Your feedback and coverage directly influence production decisions. Ideal for those interested in script analysis and storytelling, this internship can also be completed for college credit.
Creative
Get involved in the daily operations of our studio and beyond. Assist with tasks like marketing, social media, event support, location scouting, data analytics, editing, graphic design, digital content creation, and more. Explore your interests within American High, Syracuse Studios, American High Digital, and The Academy while honing your creative skill set.
Creative interns can work remotely or in-person depending on their proximity to Syracuse– exact schedule confirmed on a case-by-case basis.
AI Internship
Immerse yourself in the ethical use of modern technology in media and entertainment. Work on real-world assignments, contribute to American High projects, and develop skills in pitch decks, pre-visualization, and AI imagery creation. Complete the program with your own AI-created short film for your portfolio and gain insights into how AI integrates into film production.
Production Internship
Gain invaluable experience interning on-site in the department of your dreams with exposure to the behind-the-scenes operations of filmmaking. This program is only available during production periods, which occur on a non-consistent schedule, making it a unique and highly sought-after opportunity.
Production Internships are on-site at our main office located in Liverpool, NY (right outside of Syracuse!). Production interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
