The B2B Marketing Team is looking for an enthusiastic intern, interested in learning and applying problem solving skills of event management, while navigating corporate structure. You will be a part of a small but mighty team whose goal is to promote our department’s messages to the advertising industry through a variety of events and activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Support various events ranging from intimate client gatherings, NYT-owned tentpoles and recurring internal events
  • Maintain and manage our Industry Events calendar which is used to plan timing and participation for global advertising events
  • Update regional venue resource guide for client events
  • Join various team and strategy meetings

Basic Qualifications: 

  • A junior or senior in college, or a grad student, studying a relevant field (i.e. Event Management, Event Marketing, Hospitality, Media Communications, Advertising, Business, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Excited about event management, B2B marketing, problem solving, working on a team
  • Interested in thought leadership and the media industry

About Our Summer Internships

  • The duration is 10 weeks long, starting on June 3, 2024.
  • The rate of pay for this role is $20.00 per hour. 
  • Interns work 35 hours per week.
  • Open to Hybrid and Remote work based in New York.
