Creative Content Assistantship
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative individual passionate about graphic design, photography, and video production. This position plays a key role in supporting the Communications & Marketing department with visual storytelling for Orange Bowl programming, events, and brand initiatives. The role focuses on producing high-quality visual content to elevate the organization’s digital presence and strengthen brand identity.
Duration: 6.5 months /Tentative start date: Fall 2026
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Design compelling graphics for social media, website, email campaigns, printed materials, and event signage in alignment with brand guidelines.
- Capture and edit photo and video content from Orange Bowl events and community programs.
- Edit video content for promotional, highlight, and recap purposes using Adobe Premiere (or similar software).
- Collaborate with the team to create visual content that supports marketing campaigns and storytelling objectives.
- Manage and create photo galleries from all Orange Bowl events and publish in a timely manner.
- Assist in the creation of motion graphics and short-form videos optimized for digital platforms.
- Support real-time content creation during live events through photography and video capture.
- Monitor current visual design trends and recommend innovative ideas to keep content fresh and engaging.
- Assist with basic social media content needs, as required, with a primary focus on visual production.
- Ensure all visual assets are delivered on time and meet internal standards for quality and consistency.
- Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required; in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Multimedia Production, or related field a plus.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative graphic design and video editing skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
- Experience with photography and videography, including shooting, lighting, and editing.
- Familiarity with visual storytelling best practices across digital platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
- Ability to design for both digital and print applications.
- Experience in creating motion graphics and short-form video content optimized for social media.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong eye for visual composition and layout.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Motivated, highly organized, and collaborative with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and travel locally and occasionally out of town for events.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and transport media equipment, if needed.
NOTE:
- Must be willing to work 40 hours a week with overtime being paid for additional hours as needed.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
