Global Frontiers: The Biology of Slowing and Reversing Aging

Loading Events

We are excited to announce the fifth installment of our groundbreaking film series, Global Frontiers. The film “More Life: Decoding the Secret of Aging” chronicles the work of several cellular biologists who are tackling the underlying cause of aging, not just age-related diseases, but the aging process itself. The screening of this film will take place on Saturday, March 25th at 5 p.m.

Carlos T. Moraes, Ph.D., the Esther Lichtenstein Professor in Neurology and Cell Biology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, will lead an engaging and thought-provoking discussion both before and after the screening. Dr. Moraes will share his own research on the molecular basis of mitochondrial disorders and its impact on the aging process, as well as other exciting pathways to control, slow down, and potentially even reverse aging.

Admission is free, but registration is required via the link.
