SUMMARY:United Black Students and UTrailblazers Canes Black History Film Festival: Call for Submissions
DESCRIPTION:The University of Miami School of Communication is pleased to announce the inaugural United Black Students and UTrailblazers Canes Black History Film Festival. We seek short (5 minutes or less) films based on contents in the UTrailblazers Experience\, current events\, and/or Black student experience(s) on a multicultural campus. \nFilms awarded first place will receive $1500 and second place will receive $500. In addition\, the filmmaker awarded first place will have a chance to attend the ’Canes Los Angeles Film Showcase in May 2024. \nThe deadline for submissions is December 31\, 2023. Kennedy is assassinated in Dallas.
