Dark Burn Creative is hiring entry-level Game Capture Artists based in Woodland Hills, California. Your mission will be to work alongside our creative team to help create epic gameplay trailer footage!

The opportunity:

Are you passionate about gaming? Do you know every nook and cranny of your favorite video game? Would you like a career in capturing and saving video gameplay moments? If so, we’d love to learn more about you!

What you will do in this role:

  • Get paid to play video games.
  • Provide feedback for the game and check for bugs.
  • Quality control related to game content and continuity.
  • Report and communicate those bugs with the Gaming Development Team.
  • Capture and save incredible gameplay moments.
  • Craft precise shot lists detailing great gameplay sequences, camera angles & unique elements.

About you:

  • You’re a walking encyclopedia on all things video games and you LOVE playing those games.
  • You have a keen eye for detail and love pointing out inconsistencies in sports or game play by plays.
  • You have experience with at least one of the following: Photography, Cinematography, or Digital Art
  • You pride yourself in proficient PC skills and familiarity with popular mainstream gaming consoles (Xbox, PS5, Nintendo Switch, etc.).
  • Your communication and time management skills are excellent.
  • You’re a positive influence in the workplace and a great team member.
