Demographics

Of those students enrolled in the School of Communication, 65 percent are female and 35 percent are male.

Forty-nine percent of the student body is from a state other than Florida; 38 percent are from Miami-Dade and Broward counties; 9 percent are from elsewhere in the state of Florida; and 5 percent are from other countries.

The ethnic make-up of the student body is approximately 66 percent non-Hispanic white, 24 percent Hispanic, 8 percent non-Hispanic black, 3 percent Asian/Pacific Islands, with the remainder unidentified.
