Sigmand L. Splichal, Ph.D. Program Director, Associate Professor, Journalism and Photography

Dr. Splichal received his Ph.D. from the University of Florida, where his major field of study was communication law. His professional background includes more than 15 years' reporting and editing experience on daily newspapers in Georgia, Florida and Virginia. He is the faculty advisor to the award-winning student newspaper, The Miami Hurricane, and director of the Journalism Program.
