Edward J. Pfister, M.A. Professor, Electronic Media, Broadcast Journalism, and Media Management

Edward Pfister holds an M.A. from Seton Hall University and is the founding dean of the School of Communication. During his 25-year tenure in public broadcasting, he served as President/CEO of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting in Washington, D.C., and as President/General Manager of KERA-TV/FM in Dallas-Fort Worth. He also served in executive capacities at the Public Broadcasting Service, National Educational Television, the Agency for Instructional Television, and the National Association of Educational Broadcasters.
