Five School of Communications students, whose majors range from advertising to Visual Journalism, maximized their summer experience with an adventurous and educational six-weeks in Spain. Students toured some of Spain’s oldest and most important newspapers, and did as the locals do, eating delicious tapas, visiting museums, walking, and street shopping.

Nine student directors presented their films at the first School of Communication Los Angeles screening for an audience of over 400 alumni and industry professionals. The screening, held on May 18th at the Paramount Studios Theatre, showcased the exceptional work of graduate and undergraduate students from the Motion Pictures Department. Dean Grogg and Dr. Lazarus introduced the event.
