Coral Gables, FL (May 20, 2008) - Three School of Communication undergraduate students embrace the People’s Republic of China during a five week trip of exploration, sight-seeing, blogging and feature writing, otherwise known as the Shanghai Student Journalism Project.
The small but energetic group is the third student group to travel to China as part of the University’s Feature Writing in China study abroad program.
The students are Analisa Harangozo a broadcast journalism major from the San Francisco Bay area, Caitlin Knapp, a motion picture major from New York, and Hilary Saunders a print journalism major from Virginia.
The trio, led by Dr. Bruce Garrison, a member of the School’s journalism faculty, will be based out of Shanghai, but will visit Beijing, Hong Kong, and Bangkok.
