Coral Gables, FL (April 24, 2007) - Electronic Media and Sports Administration major, Brittany Viola, was named the NCAA Diver of the Year after her championship win on March 22 in Columbus, Ohio. Viola, 21, has been diving since she was 13 and is an Olympic hopeful.
The Orlando native said her dream and goal is to win an Olympic Gold Medal for the United States. “The life of a student athlete is challenging, but I would not change it for the world. I have the opportunity to learn and grow from an academic standpoint, to do the sport I love with a fun and driven team and meet many amazing individuals along the way,” said Viola.
