COSFORD CINEMA CELEBRATES INTERNATIONAL FILM

Coral Gables, FL (Feb. 26, 2009) – The UM School of Communication and the Bill Cosford Cinema have partnered with the 26th annual Miami International Film Festival to present another year of cinematic excellence. 

The Cosford will screen a number of fascinating selections, whose origins range from Sweden to Serbia. Presented by Miami Dade College, the Miami International Film Festival, which runs March 7-15, is an annual showcase of contemporary, multimedia selections from the world’s vast art panorama. 

General Admission is $12 and $7 for students. There are 30 free student admission tickets available for each screening to be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. The REEL Education Seminar Series also returns this year with informative panels, workshops, seminars and master-classes to educate and entertain. Meet leading film industry professionals, as well as noted filmmakers, as they share their thoughts, insights, experience and advice. Below is a list of School of Communication REEL Seminar events, which are free for students. Tickets can be picked up on the fourth floor reception area of the Frances L. Wolfson Building.
