Following a botched bank heist, an ex-con takes his revenge on those he deems responsible for his failure and loss. This tense and stark thriller has captivated audiences around the world and even represented Austria as Best Foreign Language Film at this year’s Academy Awards. Scott Fondas of the VILLAGE VOICE warns that the film “gets its hooks into you early and leaves them there.” REVANCHE explores the violence of desperation and revenge through the actions of a man with nothing to lose.
