It tests your verbal, quantitative and analytical writing skills

Can the GRE be waived?

Only if you have a Master’s degree or higher in a related field of study. The GRE can not be waived for applicants of the Ph.D. Program.

5 years

Internet based: 100
Computer based: 250
Paper based: 600

How long are TOEFL scores valid for?

Do I have to take the TOEFL or can it be waived?

All international students that do not possess a degree from a US institution must take the TOEFL. However, if you possess a degree from an accredited US institution, you do not need to take the TOEFL.

Depending on the program, it takes approximately 2 years to complete.
Public Relations (Thesis) – 30 credits
Public Relations (Non-Thesis) – 36 credits
Communication Studies – 30 credits
Film Studies – 30 credits
Print Journalism – 36 credits
TV Broadcast Journalism – 36 credits
Motion Picture Production – 42 credits
Motion Picture Screenwriting – 42 credits
Motion Picture Producing – 42 credits
*We do not offer a degree in Advertising*

Can I transfer credits to your Master's Program?

It all depends on the program you are applying to. If you are applying to a program that consists of 30-36 to complete, you can transfer up to 6 credits. If the program consists of 42 credits to complete, you can transfer up to 9 credits. It will be determined by the Program Director of the program you are applying to what your transfer credits will count towards.
