The Coral Gables Community Foundation is a non-profit organization that works to enhance the quality of life for those who live, work, learn and play in Coral Gables. We're looking for a Volunteer Intern for the Fall to help with our Annual Gala fundraiser and general marketing/communications tasks. Academic credit will be given.

The Coral Gables Community Foundation is seeking a volunteer intern to help plan, execute and handle pre-and post-event logistics for our annual gala, The Biltmore Ball to benefit the Coral Gables Community Foundation. We would like this individual to begin in late July and volunteer until early December, working 2-3 days a week, 12-15 hours a week. Times and days are flexible.

 

Duties and responsibilities  include:

  • Assist in organizing items and materials for silent auction
  • Handling and organizing gala materials
  • Assist in updating and maintaining social media presence for Foundation and event
  • Help in set up, breakdown and checkout of silent auction the day of the gala, October 5th
  • Assist in post-gala coverage
  • Help in contacting media before, handling media during the gala, and after gala
  • Contribute in communications and marketing tasks for Foundation
  • Help in general office administration duties

 

 

Intern must be available on Friday, October 5, 2018.
